Our school year runs from mid-September through Memorial Day.

Flexible Schedule! Pick the days that work for you!

Blended Preschool and Kindergarten Prep classes are offered for children ages 3 to 5 (turned age 3 by December 1) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9:00am-12:00pm.  Our flexible schedules helps families meet the unique needs of their preschoolers by picking a 2 day/week, 3 day/week, or 4 day/week program on the days that work best for them.  When deciding on days for your child, consider whether they might benefit more from the consistency of consecutive classroom days or a more restful every-other-day routine.

A blended classroom also creates a unique learning environment where students can be both novice and mentor.  Mixing with a more diverse peer group can boost self esteem, foster leadership skills, and help improve empathy.

Choose the days that work for you! Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs – either two, three, or four days per week. Optionally for children entering kindergarten the following school year, also choose days to add on pre-K extension, either two, three, or four days per week. Tuition is as follows:

2023-2024 Tuition Rates (for preschool only):

2 days/week:  $175/month

Details about our days:

Discovery Time: A time for kids to transition into the day.  Children are allowed to choose their activities during this time, including engaging table top games that relate to the weekly theme.

Morning Meeting: A time for us to gather, discuss our day, read stories, play group games, and practice our conversation skills.

Play-Based Learning: During this time, children participate in hands-on games and activities, themed art creating, and free play. Their play is their work!

Middle Circle: A time to regroup, read stories, pray and prepare for snack

Gross Motor: This is the time for gross motor development.  Our recess room includes a climbing castle, trikes and strider bikes, hula hoops and more.  We also play large group games in this space.

Closing Time: A time to review, read stories, share, and wrap up the day.

Other breaks from the daily schedule may include special guests, classroom parties, cooking days, and field trips!

Pre-Kindergarten Extension:

Kids Central offers an extended-day option for children entering Kindergarten the following year (for example, a child enrolled in our pre-K extension in 2023-24 school year would start Kindergarten in fall 2024). During this extension time we engage in math- and literacy- focused activities/games including David Matteson’s Yellow Book. This extends your child’s time at our preschool to 9:00-1:00 on the days you choose that option. In line with our flexible scheduling, you may choose some or all days to include the pre-K extension hour. Please contact us with any questions!
